Join Ethex for a cuppa and a chat with two extraordinary community and environmentally-driven organisations who are currently raising finance on our platform - Stroud Micro Dairy and Library of Things

Back with our popular Cuppa Club series, Ethex is proud to bring people a choice of investment opportunities to support extraordinary grassroots organisations, taking real steps to create better communities and reduce our environmental impact. In this webinar, we will introduce you to two impactful organisations creating a positive social and environmental impact.

We will be chatting to Rebecca Trevalyan from Library of Things, an award-winning social enterprise that has recently launched an EIS eligible share offer on Ethex, looking to raise £300,000+ to help them expand their network of Libraries across London and beyond, helping to make borrowing better than buying for more people.

Library of Things helps people to save money and reduce waste by affordably renting out useful items from local spaces. They currently are in 6 locations across London with a further 10 secured. Each of their libraries is in a community hub that enables people to borrow a range of household items, tackling the cost of living crisis as well as reducing household waste.

Rebecca will be joined by Kees Frederiks from Stroud Micro Dairy, a community-supported, sustainable dairy farm that uses regenerative and ethical farming methods to produce raw milk products for the wider community in a way that cares for the soil, the animals and local people.

Stroud Micro Dairy is currently live on Ethex with a share offer that will help them continue their pioneering farming methods, create more local jobs and bring the farm into community ownership for future generations. They are looking to raise £225,000 through the share offer that will enable investors to become cooperative members and have a say in the future running of the dairy farm and business.

Representatives of both organisations will be talking about how they operate, the impact they have had to date, their future goals and how their vision is helping to tackle the climate crisis while creating stronger communities, reducing waste and producing better food. We will discuss how their innovative approach to their businesses is helping to shape a better future. It’s going to be a great discussion, so make sure you register and join us, attendees will get the opportunity to put their questions to the panel.
