Ethex is working together with six other providers of positive investments to answer three key questions:
- To which segments of society does positive investment most appeal?
- What attracts these people to positive investment, what motivates them, and what puts them off?
- How big is the potential market by segment, where are the best opportunities for growth, and how are they best accessed?
We are asking for your help to carry out what we believe to be the largest research project into social investment ever undertaken.
How you can help
The first stage will be to conduct an online survey that will give us a comprehensive picture of positive investors and their prominence in the national population. If you are a provider of positive investments or savings, you can help us by distributing the online survey to your savers or investors once it is ready, in late May or early June.
If you would like to get more closely involved, you would be welcome to attend meetings throughout the course of the project in which we will present our thinking and results to date, and learn from you how you think the results can be used to best effect. We can also provide you with the detailed survey results for your organisation.
For further information
The project is led by Jamie Hartzell of Ethex, reporting to a steering committee consisting of practitioners, funders and external advisors. Please contact Jamie, at Jamie@ethex.org.uk or on 07879 625389 if you are willing to help, or would like further details on the research.
You can also download a PDF summary of the project, or visit www.ethex.org.uk/positiveinvesting to learn more about the research work that Ethex has already undertaken.
