Interest Accrual Dates

Interest will accrue from a date 3 months after the bonds have been allocated and monies have been drawn down from Ethex by Solar for Schools. Funds are expeced to be drawn down monthly or as soon as £100,000 has been reached.

Financial performance

The offer expects to give investors 5% return, paid annually on the 31st of October. For the first interest payment on 31 October 2020, interest will be calculated pro-rata from the date at which interest starts to accrue.

Social performance

Assuming the Solar for Schools CBS raises and deploys a total of £2m for school projects over the next 12 months, schools will see a financial benefit based on savings and income from the CBS of between £1.2m and  £2.8m over the lifetime of their solar panel systems.
