Michael Flint recently joined us as Operations Manager after returning to the UK from a two-year stint in Australia. He’s been working in Financial Services since 2007 with wide-ranging experience including anti-money laundering, asset servicing, regulatory surveillance and risk control for some of the world’s largest financial institutions.
Josh Brewer is our new Business Development Manager. He joins us after 10 years with EIRIS, the global provider of environmental, social, and governance research, where he led the energy team. He’s also worked in the Economic Justice team of Save the Children UK and has an MA in Humanitarian and Development Practice.
We’ve also promoted some of our longer-standing members of staff. Congratulations to Aude Duquesne who has been made Senior Operations Manager and to Sarah Flood, who has been with Ethex since we started in 2013, and has now been appointed Chief Operating Officer.
Expanding the team means we’ve outgrown our old office space – but we are staying in the same building at the Old Music Hall in Oxford which is owned and managed by the Ethical Property Company; and is home to many other charities, social enterprises and small local businesses.
I am very proud of what we have achieved so far, and confident we’ve now got significant skill and expertise in the team to meet the exciting new challenges ahead. I’d like to thank all of them for the important roles they play in our past and future success.
