Below is the copy of a letter from the BHESCO team explaining about the extension of their offer.
Dear BHESCo Investor,
Thank you for investing in our Community Share offer. We are delighted with the support we have received and are grateful to everyone who has helped us take this important step towards providing a clean, affordable energy supply for local schools and businesses.
The initial deadline for share applications was 13 December 2019. BHESCo’s Board has decided to extend that deadline to Friday, 28 February 2020. This will give investors more time to subscribe to the shares and reach our target raise of £500,000.
To date, we have raised £296,000 and are encouraged by the speed with which investment has flowed into this share offer. By extending the closing date to the end of February, it gives us the opportunity to raise the remaining £204,000 and finish the time-sensitive projects ahead of the 31 March 2020 Feed-in-Tariff deadline.
All investors who have placed and paid for orders prior to 16 December 2019 will have their shares allocated this month.
