We aim to make it as easy as possible to understand and compare the social and environmental performance of each business featured on Ethex by presenting a standard set of indicators. This section offers you a short guide on what each indicator means.
If you go to the “Social Performance” tab for any of the Ethex businesses, you will find the following headings:
- Key Social Performance Indicators (KSPIs) are a measure of how the business is performing on delivering on its social mission. The KSPIs are likely to be unique to the business. They are what defines it as distinctly social or environmental.
The remaining indicators are designed to track a broad range of other performance criteria that all businesses might be expected to meet:
- Common Environmental Performance Indicators (CEPIs) are standard measures of environmental performance.
- Common Social Performance Indicators (CSPIs) are standard measures of social performance.
Ethex will encourage all businesses featured on Ethex to monitor and report on all these indicators. However most businesses will not report on them all.
Ethex plans to work with each business to develop more thorough reporting standards over time. We believe that this is not only valuable to the investors, as it also helps the business with its own business planning, enabling it to consider how well it is doing on delivering on its social mission, and how that can be improved.
