About SunTransfer

Since 2009, SunTransfer Kenya has worked as a pioneer in the Kenyan solar market, establishing a network of solar centres in order to provide rural families with technical support and affordable credit needed to be able to access solar energy.

To date, SunTransfer has helped 5,000 families access clean solar energy in Kenya, thereby transforming lives and livelihoods by providing more than 100,000 people with solar power in some of the most rural and remote regions of Kenya. 

Financial return

SunTransfer are offering an expected interest rate of 6% per annum paid in semi-annual installments. The interest rate is variable.

Each £40 invested through this SunTransfer4 bond offer will enable 1 Kenyan family to buy a 5w three-light solar home system in affordable instalments over 9-12 months

Social return

The installation of home solar power systems to off-grid households has significant impacts on the lifestyle flexibility, health, safety, and economic opportunities of its customers.

Your investment will help SunTransfer to provide clean energy to a further 2,250 families in Kenya.
