Community Shares Standard Mark Awarded
The Headingley Development Trust share prospectus has been awarded the Community Shares Standard Mark. This Mark is awarded by the Community Shares Unit to offers that meet national standards of good practice. These standards ensure that:
Societies are asked to sign a Code of Practice requiring them, among other things, to give the public a right of complaint to the Community Shares Unit,
Headingley Development Trust have now secured the support of the Community Shares Booster Programme which will provide matched equity investment funding of up to £100,000. The match shares will be held by Co-operatives UK, a partner of the Booster programme and will be subject to the same terms and conditions as other HDT members, except for its right to withdraw share capital, which will be restricted to a pro-rata amount.

Headingley Development Trust expects to accrue 2% gross interest yearly from 2018, with the first payments being made in 2019. The Fund and interest will operate from a “Go Live” date, planned to be 1st July 2018, and calculated annually.
