You’re invited to join us for a chat with representatives of Great Western Credit Union for a cuppa and a chat to learn more about their re-launched bond offer that’s live on the Ethex platform.

Great Western Credit Union (GWCU) has reopened the IFISA-eligible bond offer in the hopes of reaching their stretch target of £2 million after their highly successful investment raise on Ethex earlier in the year, where they raised over £1.4 million. Every £1 invested will be matched by Fair 4 All Finance, so once £296,000 is invested (and matched), the bond offer will close.

As the cost of living crisis continues to affect families and individuals, more people are struggling to access affordable credit when needed to fund necessary purchases. Great Western Credit Union provides a realistic, affordable and caring alternative for households who are denied access to traditional borrowing, helping them avoid unethical lenders and break the cycle of debt that too many people are finding themselves in.

Funds invested in the bond offer will help them grow their business, realising their vision to help tens of thousands more people reach financial stability. This webinar will focus on the innovative products and services that GWCU offer, what their values are and how they operate differently from other finance providers. We will hear from an existing investor who is also a member of the credit union about what it means to them.

You will be able to ask them questions and learn about how investments can help them grow their successful cooperative model to achieve their vision of helping more people achieve financial stability, benefiting the community and local enterprises. Grab a cuppa and join us on Thursday 21st September at 12:30 for a 45-minute chat and Q&A.
