Get Cycling expects to pay 4% interest annually. Interest will accrue from when the shares are allocated at the end of the offer and can be withdrawn from Dec 2023. An investment in Get Cycling is eligible for Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) at 30%, dependent on an individual's tax status.
Building off a successful business retailing specialist bikes for disabled people, Get Cycling will grow their events activities including a mobile College of Cycling and disability cycling holidays, which will engage over 40,000 people each year. This will help communities become more cycle-friendly, healthy, happy, environment-friendly and equitable.
Applications for Get Cycling's shares have so far been made by individuals who support their work. Get Cycling is seeking match funding from institutional investors that can match subscriptions by individuals to take them to their £200,000 target - this plan is outlined in their business plan and offer document. Once match funding is in place, this will be reflected in the totaliser.
