A message from Carol Sargent - CEO and Secretary, MindforYou:
We
are thrilled to have raised over £280K and hit our first milestone. Thank you
to everyone who has already invested. We can now fully secure our holidays in
the second half of 2021 and start work on our 2022 holidays.
We’re
overwhelmed by the response to our community shares and we’d love to reach the
maximum, so are extending the offer deadline to Saturday 31st July. The additional
investment will hire more staff to share our knowledge and deliver more
holidays to make a bigger difference to the lives of people affected by
dementia.
Thank
you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you as new members.

We're very pleased to share the great news that MindforYou has reached the minimum target raise for their share offer to proceed!
The share offer had a target interest rate of 4% on the first £275k of investment to encourage investment towards the minimum target. And with today's great news that the target has been reached, any further investment will receive interest at a target interest rate of 3% per annum.
We look forward to seeing this great share offer hit its maximum target in the near future!

We’re pleased to announce that Postcode Innovation Trust, a grant-giving trust funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, is deploying £50,000 of match-funding into the MindforYou community share offer as part of a larger match-funding commitment to Ethex.
From 14th April 2021, every £1 invested into the share offer will be matched by £1 by Postcode Innovation Trust, up to a maximum of £50,000, providing a boost to individual investments and taking the share offer closer to their minimum raise of £275,000.
The investment forms part of a £310,000 tranche of funding from Postcode Innovation Trust into 3 share offers. Laura Chow, Head of Charities at People’s Postcode Lottery, said: “I’m delighted funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery is supporting these three fantastic causes, enabling them to create a positive impact on the lives of the people and the communities they’re supporting.”
