Ethex exists to help connect you to investment opportunities that align with your values.  Over the last 10 years we’ve helped more than 100 social enterprises to raise a staggering £120m for over 200 projects that tackle climate change and social inequality while strengthening communities. We’ve achieved this with only £1.2m of core grants and loans – that’s a return of over 100x in terms of the funding we’ve helped to raise for community businesses.

We don’t do this for profit, in fact we are established as a not-for-profit company.  We do this because we believe in the transformative power of money - your money – as a force for good.

Most of Ethex’s income comes from fees charged to businesses that raise money via our website. We’re committed to keeping fees low, below market rate, so that more organisations can access the vital funding that our investors provide.

We are also committed to continuous improvement in our services, whether that’s conducting due diligence, helping businesses to prepare and market their offers or developing our website. Of course, this comes at a cost and costs are rising. In order to reach our next milestone of £ ¼ billion raised on the platform, we shall need to invest in the team, technology and publicity – we are convinced that there are many more wonderful people out there who would love to invest with Ethex, if only they knew we were here.
