Financial Performance to
31st December 2017

In 2017, Triodos Bank’s income grew by 10.1% to €240 million (2016: €218 million).

The total amount of assets under management grew by €1.1 billion, or 8%, to €14.5 billion. The balance sheet total grew by 9% to €9.9 billion thanks to a steady growth in the funds entrusted and new capital raised during the year, in all branches.

Triodos Bank’s total number of customers increased by 4% and by the end of 2017, Triodos Bank had more than 681,000 customers.

Profit before tax and loan provisioning increased from to €50.1 million from €45.8 million. Net profit of €37.4 million was up by 28% (2016: €29.2 million).

Triodos Bank delivered a return on equity of 3.9% in 2017 (2014: 3.5%). A dividend of €1.95 was declared. (2016: €1.95)
