What they do

Bristol Credit Union is owned and controlled by its customers - who are members - and exists solely to provide services for them. The Credit Union takes deposits from its members, who must live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath & North East Somerset or North Somerset, and lends the money on at competitive rates to fellow members. During the year, savings balances increased by 34% to £4.95 million, and loan balances increased by 25% to £2.571 million.
