Chase Community Solar has been set up to provide electricity bill savings to lower income council tenants, reduce carbon emissions and provide an opportunity to become a member of the Society. Read more
Chase Community Solar forecasts a 7% IRR over the lifetime of the project with capital being repaid from years 4 to 20, at the directors' discretion. The IRR of 7%, is boosted with EIS tax relief. Please note that this is a long term investment and returns are lower in the early years.

The project’s purpose is to generate electricity from solar panels to reduce fuel poverty of the Cannock Chase area.
The surplus after payment of interest to members will be donated to the local community.
A Community Fund will be established, the disbursement of which will be decided by the board of directors and members of the society.
