About Energise Africa Products

The Energise Africa campaign funds various projects accross Africa that distribute solar technology to the rural poor. Energise Africa projects work in many countries across the continent, such as Tanzania, Uganda, Keyna, Cameroon, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burkina Faso and Senegal. 

Financial return

Energise Africa projects offer an expected interest rate of 5% or above, which is paid in semi-annual installments.

Social return

Your investment will help the project to provide solar technologies to businesses and families. While this will vary somewhat on a prokect-by-project basis, some of the benefits may include:

  • Business development and economic growth, enabling greater independence and more education
  • Freedom from kerosene fumes for families - cleaner houses, reduced respiratory problems, and reduction of environmentally damaging emissions
  • Better lighting - enabling study in the evening, preventing damage to eyesight, and making houses safer
