What infrastructure is needed to help to deliver Oxfordshire’s low carbon transport solution? Join us for a webinar to discuss this with a panel of experts.

Oxfordshire County Council is committed to creating a Carbon Neutral Oxfordshire by 2030. In order to achieve this, they need to accelerate the transition to a sustainable transport network.
In this online discussion, we will hear from a fantastic panel about the solutions needed to create a sustainable, low carbon transport system in Oxfordshire and the vital part that public EV charging will play within the overall infrastructure.

In the webinar, we’ll discuss the barriers to people making sustainable transport choices, including the lack of public charging facilities for electric vehicle owners.
We will be looking at how the Park and Charge project - being delivered in partnership with EZ-Charge - fits into Oxfordshire’s sustainability strategy/OxLEP’s energy strategy and how it will play a crucial part in helping the county get to net-zero.

EZ-Charge is a groundbreaking Oxfordshire based charge point operator who have partnered with Oxfordshire County Council and the University of Oxford to develop a pioneering Park and Charge project with the aim of creating a robust infrastructure for EV ownership in Oxfordshire.

They are currently raising finance via Ethex to raise £1,200,000 to install and operate 280 EV charging points in public car parks across Oxfordshire that will enable 2,800 EV owners to access easy and reliable charging.

We will also Invite panellists’ thoughts on the overall sustainable transport solutions in Oxfordshire and invite questions from the audience. It is going to be a really interesting session for anyone interested in Oxfordshire's net-zero future.
