Our Business Development and Marketing teams will help you structure your offer to give it the best possible chance of raising the finance you need from our investors. Ethex works closely with you to help your enterprise:
- develop an investment offer that resonates with our investor base
- become investment ready and where appropriate help you secure grant funding through the Reach Fund
- explore your eligiblity for match funding
- with additional follow on services including share and bond registry services, enterprise management and secondary market services.
Preparing your Offer
To check that your aims and those of our investors are closely aligned, we'll work with you through the initial preparation period to ensure you have a comprehensive and engaging offer document.

Whatever stage you are in the investment raising process, please get in touch. As a Reach Fund Access Point, Ethex can help with access to grant funding of £15,000 to enable social enterprises become investment ready. The Reach Fund is a two year grant programme that helps charities and social enterprises raise investment. The programme is funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment and is open to organisations in England.
Planning your Raise
Your organisation's online profile on the Ethex platform will communicate what your organisation is about and convey the social and financial impact that will be generated as a result of the investment. This is very important in mobilising support from our committed investor base. We'll work with you to develop a compelling profile as well as providing in-house marketing support to plan and execute a joint marketing strategy to ultimately help you achieve a successful raise.
One consideration for planning your raise is whether your offer is eligible for tax relief, which can make your offer more attractive to investors. Find out more here.
Raising your Money
When it’s time to launch your offer we will publish your online profile and market your product through a broad range of communication channels, including our website, email, social media, events and via our direct investor contacts.
During the course of an offer Ethex will act as the receiving agent for your raise. We'll carry out all necessary investor checks and act as the first point of contact for any investor queries. We will receive monies from potential investors into a segregated client account, providing peace of mind.
Throughout this period, we will keep you up to date on how your offer is progressing providing weekly reports anlysing data on your progress and engagement from investors.
Receiving your Funds
Success! When you've reached your investment raise target and your offer is closed, we'll liaise with your investors to collect payments, create an investor register and, once approved by your Board of Directors, we’ll transfer your funds.
Time to celebrate!
It doesn't end there. Once your raise has completed, if you don't have a registrar we will manage your registry for at least one year, and can also support you with secondary market service and management services for your enterprise.
