Thrive Renewables PLC is a public company, initially founded by Triodos Bank in 1994. It is one of the most widely owned renewable energy companies in the UK with a community of 5,518 shareholders.
Thrive Renewables develops and operates small to medium-scale renewable energy projects across the UK. It now operates 19 onshore wind farms, one hydro-electric scheme and one solar farm. In 2017 Thrive Renewables raised £9.96m from 940 individuals via the Thrive Renewables PLC bond. In the same year Thrive also generated a record turnover of £15.6m and an operating profit of £4.4m.
