Nothing yet! We will email you when your data has been securely transferred. In addition, this page will be updated with instructions and the links you will need to follow.

To make the transfer easier it would great if you could change them to match, however we will be using other data points if we think you're the same person with two email addresses.

Q. Is my data safe?
Yes. Ethex takes data security very seriously and handles all personal and financial data in accordance with UK GDPR requirements. Your data is transferred securely as part of this process and will only be used to manage your investments and keep you informed. You'll have full control over your communication preferences when you set up your account.

Q. Will Triodos still be involved with new investments?
Yes. Triodos Bank UK remains fully independent and continues to originate and structure new investment opportunities. Those offers will be clearly badged as Triodos investments on the Ethex platform. Ethex will take over registry management, payments, and investor account management on their behalf.

Q. Is this a merger between Ethex and Triodos?
No. Both organisations remain independent. Triodos Bank UK will continue to source and structure its own investment opportunities, and Ethex will continue to develop its own. What changes is that all Triodos crowdfunding offers are now hosted and distributed through the Ethex platform, giving investors access to the widest range of UK impact investment opportunities in one place.
Q. Will the Triodos crowdfunding website still be available?
The Triodos crowdfunding platform will close once all accounts have been successfully transferred to Ethex. All your investment information, documents, and history will be available through your Ethex account. All new Triodos crowdfunding opportunities will now be on Ethex.org.uk

Yes. As well as your existing Triodos investments, you'll be able to browse and invest in Ethex's full range of impact investment opportunities. Between Ethex and Triodos, you'll have access to the broadest range of direct impact crowdfunding investments available in the UK.

Q. How will I view and manage my investments?
Once your account is set up on Ethex, you will be able to log in at www.ethex.org.uk using the email address associated with your Triodos account. From your personal dashboard, you'll be able to view your full portfolio, download certificates and statements, track repayments, and manage your account preferences, all in one place.

Q. Do I need to set up a new account?
No. Your Ethex account will be created for you as part of the transfer. If you don't already have an Ethex account, you will be asked to log in using your Triodos email address and reset your password when prompted. If you already have an Ethex account, just log in as usual, your Triodos investments will appear alongside your existing portfolio (provided your emails are match on both accounts).
Q. I have a Triodos account but no Ethex account, what do I need to do to complete the transfer?
We will send you an email when the data has been securely transferred; from there the process is straightforward. You will be asked to log in with the email you use for your Triodos email address, reset your password, review the data being transferred to Ethex, and accept Ethex's Terms and Conditions. Once that's done, you'll be able to see all your Triodos investments in your new Ethex account.
Q. I have both a Triodos and an Ethex account, is that a problem?
Not at all. Triodos and Ethex back office teams will be working together, and we will be in touch to resolve any issues.
Q. What if I registered with Triodos but never invested?
You’ll still be transferred to Ethex and can set up your account in the same way. Once you're set up, you'll be able to browse and invest in a wide range of impact investment opportunities from both Ethex and Triodos.

Yes, absolutely. Your investments are completely unaffected by this transfer. The terms of your investments, including interest rates, repayment schedules, and share rights, remain exactly as they were when you originally invested. The only things to change are where you manage your investments and that your IFISA investments Manager is now Share In Ltd (ShareIn).

Q. Can I invest through an Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA)?
Many investment opportunities on Ethex are eligible for an Innovative Finance ISA, meaning you can earn interest on qualifying investments tax-free. You'll be able to see clearly which opportunities are IFISA-eligible when you browse offers on the platform.

Share In Ltd (ShareIn) has facilitated payments to and from investors for both Triodos and Ethex over the last decade. Where an investor chooses to invest via an ISA, ShareIn administers the IFISA account under the Individual Savings Account Regulations 1998. ShareIn is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 603332). ShareIn is not responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of organisations that can be invested in on Ethex and does not sit on the Ethex Investment Committee or with the Triodos Corporate Structuring team.
What is useful about the transfer of Triodos accounts to Ethex is that we both use ShareIn as our infrastructure provider, and so this means your account interface will be familiar to you.
Q. Will Triodos still manage my IFISA?
No, ShareIn will now manage your IFISA.

Everything is in one place, your personal Ethex dashboard at www.ethex.org.uk. Once you've logged in, you'll have a clear view of your full portfolio, including all your Triodos investments alongside any Ethex investments you hold. You can also download share certificates and statements, view your transaction history, and track repayments, all from the same secure account.

Q. Will this cost me anything?
No. There are no charges to you as an investor as a result of this transfer. The move to Ethex will not result in any changes to the fees associated with your existing investments.
